Ingredients
- 10 thin slices of bread
- 300g pork sausage mince
- 20g Australian Gruyere cheese, thinly sliced
- 110g egg
- 250ml milk
- 500g breadcrumbs
Directions
- Spread the slices of bread with sausage mince, allow 15g per slice, then cover with a slice of Gruyere cheese.
- Turn slice over and repeat step 1.
- Make an egg wash with the egg and milk. Dip into egg wash then crumb. Allow to dry.
- Fry in deep fryer and serve hot.
