Ingredients
- 250g shortcrust pastry
- 150g asparagus, cut into 2cm lengths
- 400ml milk
- 250g eggs
- 100g cheddar cheese, grated
- salt and pepper
- 120ml cream
Directions
- Roll out pastry and line flan cases.
- Cook the asparagus in boiling salted water, drain and cool.
- Mix milk, cream and eggs together, add cheese, season lightly, then mix in cream and asparagus.
- Pour into flan cases, sprinkle with extra cheese.
- Bake at 180℃ for 30-35 minutes.
